๐ฆ The Lion and the Mouse ๐ญ
One sunny day, a mighty lion was sleeping under a big tree in the forest. The lion was the king of the forest. He was strong and powerful. All the animals were afraid of him.
A little mouse was running around looking for food. He did not see the sleeping lion. The mouse ran right over the lion's nose!
The lion woke up with a loud roar. He grabbed the mouse with his big paw.
"How dare you wake me up!" shouted the lion. "I am going to eat you!"
The little mouse was very scared. He started to shake and cry.
"Please, great lion, do not eat me!" cried the mouse. "I am so small. I would not even make a good meal for you. Please let me go, and one day I will help you!"
The lion laughed and laughed. "You help me? How can a tiny mouse like you help a big, strong lion like me?" said the lion. "But you are funny. I will let you go."
The lion opened his paw and the mouse ran away quickly. "Thank you, kind lion!" said the mouse. "I will never forget your kindness."
The lion just smiled and went back to sleep. He did not believe that a little mouse could ever help him.
Some days later, the lion was walking in the forest. Suddenly, he fell into a trap made by hunters. A strong net covered his body. The lion tried to break free, but the net was too strong. He roared and roared for help, but no one came.
The little mouse heard the lion's roar. He remembered how the lion had been kind to him. He ran quickly to help.
"Do not worry, lion! I will help you!" said the mouse.
The mouse started to gnaw the ropes of the net with his sharp teeth. He worked and worked, biting one rope at a time. Soon, the lion was free!
The lion stood up, happy and surprised. "You saved my life!" said the lion. "You were right, little mouse. Even a small friend can be a great help. I will never forget your kindness."
From that day on, the lion and the mouse became the best of friends. They lived happily together in the forest.
Moral of the story: Even the smallest friend can be a great help. Kindness is never wasted.
